EURehab is a research project in the field of vocational education and training, which aims to establish an integrated approach towards the rehabilitation of victim and offender children. On February 1, Diagrama Foundation held the REVIJ Project national seminar for the UK, in Europe House, London.The REVIJ project, which concludes later this year, will help provide a shared vision on victim reparation measures in Europe, analysing the accomplishment of the Directive 2012/29/UE of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe regarding respect to rights, support and protection of offence victims. The third international meeting of the EURehabChildren European Project was held in Madrid last month. Pictured are representatives of the partners of project - Provest Consulting (Turkey), Gruppo CSCS (Italy), FAM Y LIAS (Spain) and Diagrama Foundation (UK).In the meeting, the partners shared their knowledge and findings of recent studies into youth crime, to decide the next stage of the project and the dissemination plan for their findings. European partners of the project 'REVIJ. Reparation to the victim in the European Juvenile Justice Systems: Comparative analysis and transfer of best practices' have gathered for their third meeting, this time in Verona.The study compares the victim reparation measures in different European juvenile justice systems and is funded by the Criminal Justice Programme of the EU. Diagrama Foundation is working as the UK partner of a European commission-funded project to help young people improve their job prospects by showing them how to improve their employability skills.The Get There – Journey to Employment project was created under Erasmus+ - a new programme launched in 2014 by the European Union, to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe. Diagrama Foundation meets with European Project 'REVIJ' partners in France
The second meeting of the partners of the European Project ‘REVIJ’ was held, on September 23, in the city of Rennes (France), where there was a presentation of the analysis of good practices accomplished by each one of the project’s partners in their respective countries. The study, 'Reparition to the victim in the European Juvenile Justice Systems: Comparative analysis and transfer of best practices', compares the restorative measures found in different European Juvenile Justice Systems. Since 2012, Diante Bou Bess Association has offered farming and nutrition training to 120 Senegalese women in the Polyvalent Training Centre of Sandiara (Senegal). During this time, Diagrama Foundation professionals have collaborated in the technical development of the programmes. This project of food sovereignty reinforcement and training in ecological farming techniques and trading, includes the implementation of a drip system in 5 hectares of the farmland and the installation of a 50 m³ water tower. The past 2 and 3 of March, Rochester held the first partners meeting of the European Project REVIJ, which compares the victim reparation measures in different European Juvenile Justice Systems. This project, funded by the European Union Criminal Justice Programme, is led by Fundación Diagrama (Spain) and has partners from several European countries: Association Diagrama (France), Diagrama Foundation (UK), Istituto Don Calabria (Italy), Universidade Catolica Portuguesa do Porto (Portugal) and the International Juvenile Justice Observatory (Belgium). The 3rd of November launched the beginning of the European Project REVIJ, ‘Reparation to the victim in the European Juvenile Justice Systems: Comparative analysis and transfer of best practices’.
