Our Family Support Service believes in offering holistic support to all the people who use or are involved with our services. Our service is person/family centred and we work in partnership with the family, young person or individual.
The team consists of highly qualified individuals which includes a psychotherapeutic counsellor, therapist and a therapeutic social worker who offer expertise in helping to enhance a family’s/person’s wellbeing/functioning.
All the team are registered with the relevant professional bodies: BACP, UKCP and HCPC. Jointly they have over 30 years of experience of working with families, children and young people.
We have extensive experience across a whole range of issues, conditions and disorders and can work with groups or individuals.
The individual/family is central to our work and we establish specific goals to work towards. The work is time limited so we utilise a solution-focused approach. If the family/person needs more intensive work this can be undertaken dependent on funding.
