The second meeting of the partners of the European Project ‘REVIJ’ was held, on September 23, in the city of Rennes (France), where there was a presentation of the analysis of good practices accomplished by each one of the project’s partners in their respective countries. The study, 'Reparition to the victim in the European Juvenile Justice Systems: Comparative analysis and transfer of best practices', compares the restorative measures found in different European Juvenile Justice Systems.
Financed by the Criminal Justice Programme of the European Union, the project is led by FundaciĆ³n Diagrama (Spain) and partnered by Diagrama Foundation (UK), Association Diagrama (France), Istituto Don Calabria (Italy), Universidade Catolica Portuguesa do Porto (Portugal) and the International Juvenile Justice Observatory (IJJO).
This analysis will help facilitate the subsequent European comparison to be carried out by the IJJO. The group also agreed on themes to be discussed in national seminars of experts in the field which each country will develop by the end of the year. The final report from the project will be presented at those seminars.
