One of Diagrama team members will be visiting Nice where she will meet with partners from Sweden and France, whilst another one will meet with partners from Estonia, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium in Rome; both meetings with the aim of continuing work for two different European-funded Projects.
In Nice, Diagrama will be welcomed by the organisation Diaologues, an association working with people from low income, in disadvantaged areas, by providing opportunities through a social enterprise for people to receive training and find employment. During the trip, the partners will be visiting different resources and services that are unique to the area, and will discuss the different ways in which best practices can be transferred to the UK and Sweden, as part of the Empowerment Approaches and Social Inclusion Project.
Meanwhile, Diagrama will also visit Rome where Istituto Don Calabria, an organisation that provides intervention and support to excluded and disadvantaged young people through day and residential Centres, will welcome our organisation. In Rome, the partners will meet for the last time to bring to a closure the Juvenile Drug Use – Tertiary prevention strategies Project, and discuss ways of future collaboration so as to continue the good work in the area of young offenders.
