Part-Time Fostering Social Worker

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed social worker to support children, adults and families through fostering to make a real difference to their lives. If you have the passion and dedication to help us find the best foster carers for children, we would love to hear from you. Diagrama Foundation is an ambitious and progressive charity; our fostering service is rated GOOD in all areas by Ofsted.

Due to current growth, we are expanding our existing team of social workers. We would welcome applications from social workers based in the Sussex area who would be willing to travel to families within an hour of the wider Brighton region.

Competitive salary up to £21,600 for a 24 hour working week, 5.2 weeks holiday + 1.6 weeks for bank holidays.

Care Assistants – Edensor Care Centre, Clacton-on-Sea – £18,238 pro rata (Day shift and Night shift vacancies)

Edensor Care Centre is an award-winning residential home for adults – with a difference. Everyone is given the opportunity to live life to the full in our warm and caring home, no matter what their circumstances.

We look after people with a variety of needs, offering nursing, residential and dementia care and our professional team encourage all residents to retain their own independence as much as possible.

We currently have full-time vacancies working an average of 38.5 hours per week on a 12-hour shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off. We operate a 24/7 service so applicants must be willing to work both days and nights. We may consider applicants for part-time or casual hours, dependent on operational needs.

This role involves the care of both male and female residents. As such our workforce needs to be gender balanced and our recruitment decisions will reflect this. Our residents are predominantly female at present and we therefore positively welcome applications from suitable female candidates.

Independent social workers (home-based) - covering London and the South East

Are you a highly skilled Independent Social Worker, with valid SWE registration, able to undertake PAR and/or Form F Assessments? Our service covers London and the South East (from Southampton through to Kent) and we are currently recruiting within these areas. Our ISWs work in collaboration with Diagrama assessing potential adopters and foster carers through to the point of presenting to our Independent Joint Adoption and Fostering Panel.
