Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission have published their latest inspection carried out on House 1 in October and House 3 in January and we are delighted to say both houses have been rated GOOD in all areas.
The inspection looks at different aspects of the service including safety, care, effectiveness, responsiveness and leadership.
Residential manager Michelle Dyne said: “We are very proud of our service and of the hard work of our team and would like to thank all residents, staff and relatives who took part in the interviews with inspectors.”
The House 1 inspection highlighted: ‘A clear ethos of providing good quality person-centred care’, where ‘people engaged and interacted with staff enthusiastically’.
Some relatives told inspectors how staff have gone ‘above and beyond with a very personal caring touch’.
In House 3 the inspector noted: ‘People and relatives told us staff treated people with kindness and care’ and that ‘staff respected people's individuality and promoted their independence, treating them with dignity and respect’.
The inspection did highlight some improvements needed to our quality assurances processes which we are addressing. The full inspection reports are available to download here:
