Diagrama Foundation, in partnership with Action with Communities in Rural Kent, and as part of its Green Futures for Young People, was at the Medway Campus for the event, which was hosted by The Guidance & Employability Team.
On the 12th of October 2011, Diagrama Foundation participated in the Greenwich University Annual Recruitment Fair at the Medway Campus. The annual event was hosted by the Guidance & Employability Team (GET) from the University of Greenwich, and brought together organisations from the Medway & Kent region (as well as those further afield), with students and graduates from the Universities at Medway (a partnership which includes the Universities of Greenwich, Kent and Canterbury Christ Church, and Mid-Kent College).
This was an ideal opportunity for attracting many potential applicants for a position in a work placement, which is supported by European Social Funds under the Progress Programme, under the project Green Futures For Young People. This project works across a range of community-based organisations and social enterprises to capture entrepreneurship and to develop new business through delivering high quality, local and effective social, health and care services, with the aim of raising the profile of the not-for-profit sector as a career choice for able young people.
