Edensor Care Centre, Diagrama’s home for Elderly and Dementia care in Clacton-on-Sea, scooped four wins at the Essex Care Sector Prosper Awards, held on 8th July. The awards celebrate the best of the Essex care sector and are open to all providers who deliver a care service to adults in the Essex County Council's Local Authority area.
The staff at Edensor are particularly proud of the outstanding dementia care they offer at the home and so it was fantastic that this was recognised with a win in The Dementia Care category. The team went on to win the Making a Difference Award, whilst the Unsung Hero Award went to staff member Annesta Horrocks.
Muhammed Neeliyath, Edensor’s Manager, won the outstanding leadership award just before two further members of the team, Pepa Georgieva and Dale Gould, were commended in the category of Prosper Champion of Champions.
David McGuire, Diagrama Chief Executive, said, “I am so proud of the team at Edensor and am delighted that the exceptional care that they provide for our residents has been recognised by the Essex Care Sector Awards. There are many fabulous care providers across the county so for Edensor to have been recognised by four awards and two commendations is a real endorsement of the superb level of care and service they deliver in Clacton.”
