Meet Our Patrons and Ambassadors
At Diagrama Foundation, we are proud to be supported by a remarkable group of ambassadors and patrons who share our vision for creating lasting, positive change in the lives of vulnerable children, adults, and communities.
Coming from diverse backgrounds, including public service, the arts, education, and social care, these dedicated individuals lend their voices, expertise, and influence to amplify our mission.
Lord Bird MBE
Patron
Lord John Bird, who co-founded The Big Issue and is a life-peer in the House of Lords, is passionate about improving the outcomes for young offenders within the British justice system.
As part of his commitment to working with us he visited our parent organisation, Fundación Diagrama in Spain, to see firsthand the very different approach the charity has towards young offenders who are sent to their detention centres.
Paul Jacobs GM
Ambassador
Paul Jacobs GM, who served with the 2nd Battalion The Rifles, was 20 years old when he lost his sight in an explosion in Afghanistan when two of his comrades were killed.
Paul spent much of his young life in care and is hoping that talking to people about the importance of the good foster carers he had and how they influenced his life, will encourage more people to come forward to foster.
