A lovely day was had by all when a group of volunteers from HSBC Commercial Banking visited Cabrini House, Diagrama’s residential home for adults with learning disabilities in Orpington, to kick off the Cabrini Co-op Garden.

Cabrini House has been chosen to be part of the Co-op Local Community Fund and our friends at HSBC were joined on the day by Jenny Collins, Co-op Member Pioneer. To mark Volunteer Week 2022, the helpful team took part in gardening, painting and building fences out of pallets. With the Cabrini residents lending a hand, the garden is now awash with colour and even a huge downpour didn’t dampen the spirits of the team.

Claire Morlham, Cabrini House Manager said, “What a fabulous day the residents and staff had. We are so lucky to have a large garden area and the volunteers have certainly helped us to reclaim unusable space that we will enjoy for years to come. We cannot thank them enough for giving up their time”.
