Meal times are such an important part of daily life within Edensor, our care home, in Orwell Road, Clacton-on-Sea. They are very much a social occasion to be enjoyed by everyone and we offer a wide choice of high quality meals, catering for residents’ individual tastes and needs. Our chefs are passionate about preparing and delivering healthy nutritional food using seasonal ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible and all our meals are freshly prepared daily.

This week saw our amazing chefs preparing new ways to present meals for our residents who need to have soft food. They have been plated up in a way that is attractive and resembles the food in its usual form, while still meeting their dietary needs.

David McGuire, Diagrama Foundation CEO, said: “Our chefs are doing a great job of supporting a positive dining experience for our residents, this encourages engagement with eating and preserves their dignity. We think they've done a great job!”
