The finishing touch on the Duckyls Farm's Day Centre classroom has now been laid thanks to the support of grant-giving charity Chalk Cliff Trust.

The classroom was the first major improvement undertaken after Diagrama Foundation took over Duckyls Farm, with the aim of creating a warm, accessible and practical indoor learning environment.

The Day Centre Classroom is the main indoor hub for activities at Duckyls Farm and is used daily for cookery sessions, arts and crafts, learning workshops and group activities for Community Services participants and farm residents.

The floor is the final phase in the classroom's build. Crawley Carpet Warehouse leveled the 117 square metre space and laid durable commercial vinyl flooring, providing a smoother, more accessible floor for adults with learning disabilities and wheelchair users.

Completing this final phase means the classroom is now the welcoming and comfortable space it was designed to be and opens up its potential to host wellness sessions and community groups.
