Diagrama Foundation has launched a fundraising skydive campaign that brings together staff and people supported by the charity through the shared goal of helping vulnerable people reach new heights.

Staff from the Fostering and Adoption, Duckyls Farm and Cabrini House teams, along with two residents from Duckyls Farm Cottage, will take part in the Diagrama Charity Skydive 2026 to raise funds for the children and adults supported by the charity.

The 11 person team will bravely dive together out of a plane on Friday 18th September at Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent.

Our aim is to raise £25,000, with every pound helping to create life-enriching opportunities for the vulnerable children and adults supported by the Foundation across its fostering, adoption, residential care and supported living services.

Funds raised will support additional projects including creating more accessible learning spaces; providing sensory and wellbeing resources; expanding enrichment activities; increasing access to therapeutic support; and creating more outdoor learning opportunities.

These initiatives help build confidence, develop new skills and make life fuller and happier.

The idea for the skydive came from Graham, a resident at Duckyls Farm Cottage. Wanting to give something back to Diagrama, he suggested taking on the challenge to raise funds for a farm garden, and the idea quickly snowballed into a charity-wide project. At the heart of Diagrama's ethos is the belief that our Service should be shaped by the people we care for and if they want to jump out of a plane together, we will make that happen.

Whilst Graham is unable to jump, he is still taking part in the skydive by helping drive the campaign as he is passionate about fundraising for us.

Graham said: "During my stay at Duckyls, I have experienced first-hand the support, care and sense of community it provides to its residents.

"I am of the conviction that the funds raised will go a long way in enhancing the quality of life for me and other residents and will support the valuable work carried out by Diagrama, so please donate what you can.

“I believe skydiving is fun, exciting and adventurous. It is also a unique challenge that can help attract donations and support for a worthy cause.”
