Volunteer group transforms Duckyls Farm Lodge dining room with Wickes support

A group of volunteers have given the dining room at Duckyls Farm Lodge a fresh makeover thanks to DIY supplier Wickes.  

A group of eight volunteers from Liquidnet, along with Duckyls Farm Cottage resident Reece, spent a day freshening up the Lodge's dining room and painting the room's magnolia walls with a crisp, clean coat of cream paint. They also created a green statement wall.  

East Grinstead's Wickes branch generously donated all the equipment required for the task, including paint, rollers, decorating supplies and corkboard paneling. This paneling will run across the statement wall and be used to show off residents' artwork.  

A special thanks goes to Jake Higham, Operations Manager at Wickes East Grinstead, who was very generous in his help and support.  

Lodge residents were off site when the makeover took place. They loved seeing their new space when they returned to Duckyls Farm later that day.
