Diagrama has embarked on an Erasmus +, a two-year project, working with partner organisations across Europe – it is the E-PROFID project. The E-PROFID project is built on a foundation of innovation and transfer of good practice with organisations from diverse backgrounds serving different client groups, working together to design tools and methods to change the public's perception, by promoting ability, rather than accepting disability. Diagrama is leading an innovative multi-country project to change the public's perception of disability by promoting ability rather than accepting disability. Diagrama is collaborating with organisations from Italy, Belgium, France, and Spain on a two-year €80,000 E-Profid project funded by the European Union Erasmus Plus Programme. On 12 October representatives from Diagrama will fly to Murcia in Spain, to join with the other project participants for their first face to face meetings. Read more...

Cabrini residents go camping
There was much excitement at Cabrini House, our residential home for adults with learning disabilities in Orpington, when the residents found out that they would have the opportunity to spend the night camping in the garden. The residents, who all have learning disabilities, helped the team to put up five tents and prepare the food and snacks for the night outside. Read more...

Lawyer Lena Ramesh, 41, returned to the UK after working abroad for many years, to be near her family in Surrey and to begin the process of adopting a child. Edensor Care Centre, in Clacton-on-Sea, has had a wish come true with the arrival of two specially designed beach wheelchairs which will allow their residents to enjoy time on the sand. With the generous support of Colchester Catalyst, Pickering Electronics LTD and those who donated through Just Giving, Edensor is delighted to have been able to buy two beach wheelchairs which will make huge difference to everyone at Edensor.
