Natalie Lohneis has been appointed as Diagrama's Head of Adoption & Fostering Services.
The registered social worker has over 18 years post qualification experience in work with children and families. This ranges from family support and safeguarding services to adoption and fostering. Natalie has extensive rounded experience through Local Authority work, and with charities and private organisations. The last 11 years of Natalie's career have been focused in family placement services, at a managerial / consultancy level and in improvement work. Read more...

Edensor Care Centre, Diagrama's residential home for nursing and dementia care has featured on BBC Look East when foundation Chief Executive David McGuire PhD shared details of the extra measures that have been taken to keep residents protected from Covid-19.
Mr McGuire and the team at Edensor told reporters how challenging the past few months had been, as residents had been unable to meet with their loved ones and staff had struggled to obtain supplies of PPE during the height of lockdown. Read more...

Staff at Edensor, Diagrama's 48-bed care home for dementia and nursing care have been highly praised by the Care Quality Commission who rated the standard of care received by residents as ‘Outstanding’. The recent inspection, which saw the overall rating across five areas go from requires improvement to ‘Good' was upgraded in recognition of efforts made across the board to improve the service. Diagrama has joined the University of Kent’s renowned Employability Points scheme to offer undergraduates work placement opportunities throughout its services. Students at the university will be tasked with earning points towards eligibility for work experience, work shadowing and paid internship opportunities, for which they will be formally interviewed and selected, to support them with their job seeking skills. During the 25-27th January our Cabrini residents took part in the world’s largest wildlife survey and did something great for nature. Diagrama Foundation’s home for adults with learning disabilities, based in Orpington joined over half a million people who have been talking part in this survey for over 40 years.
Our residents first visited the shops to buy ingredients to make bird cakes and then hung them on the bird table in Cabrini’s garden. They then spent an hour counting the birds that landed in the garden and submitting the results online. Read more...
