At the beginning of March Diagrama held a free online seminar for our staff, foster carers and adopters on building a culture of care, giving them a chance to learn about self-care, the importance of looking after yourself and others. The last 12 months have been challenging in more ways than one. Flipping fun on Pancake Day
We couldn’t let Pancake day go by without our Cabrini residents having a go at making pancakes themselves. Pancake Tuesday also known as Shrove Tuesday is celebrated the day before Lent starts on Ash Wednesday. It was the perfect day for our residents to experiment with the ingredients, get creative and messy! Cabrini House dancing, lockdown activities
They say dancing is the best thing you can do for your body and mind, which is why our Cabrini residents recently enjoyed a good song and dance! David McGuire, Diagrama CEO said “During lockdown we have tried to keep our residents as engaged and happy as possible which has been one of our biggest challenges here at Cabrini House during lockdown, as it no doubt has been for so many people. Edensor Care Centre Residents First In Region to Receive Coronavirus Vaccine
This week Edensor Care Centre, Diagrama’s home for elderly nursing and dementia care in Clacton-on-Sea, have received their first doses of the Coronavirus Vaccine. Foster carer Beth Earnshaw shares her story
A 25-year-old teaching assistant has helped launch Diagrama’s new campaign to raise awareness of the need for more foster carers in the south east.    Beth Earnshaw, from Swanley in Kent shares her story in a new video of how she has wanted to become a foster carer since she was a teenager.
